This Teutonic Arming Sword has a blade that is crafted from high carbon steel - it is built with a thick blade with blunted edges that are at least 2 mm thick that is intended for stage and sport combat. The tip is rounded for safety and blade has a hollow ground cross section to reduce unnecessary weight. The hilt is steel with a wooden grip that is overlaid in leather. The blade tang is solidly peened over the pommel to create a secure and strong hilt construction.
The wood-core scabbard is tightly wrapped in leather and is accented with an etched Cross and Shield sigil on a single side.
