Description
This reproduction of the US M1840 Heavy Cavalry Saber has a blade of tempered high carbon steel with reproduced Ames sword manufacturer markings. The blade is stoutly mounted into brass and the grip is wrapped in black leather and twisted copper wire. The sword comes with a steel scabbard with steel hanging rings.
