This open face design was popular during the mid 1400's. Though it didn't provide protection for the face or neck, it was less confining than visored helms and left vision unobstructed. Hand-crafted from 18-gauge steel, this piece can be worn or used as decoration. No lining or suspension is provided, this allows for individual customizing.
