17th Century Swept Hilt Shell Guard Rapier

This Rapier has a blade forged from high carbon steel; the complex hilt is mild steel with a wooden grip overlaid in twisted steel wire. The wood-core scabbard is finished with a tight leather wrap and protective steel fittings.
